Mayflower Nursery was established in 1905 and as such is one of the oldest and largest in Essex. We routinely carry stock in excess of half a million plants, under more than 2 acres of glass.

In addition to our own stocks of plants, we have access to various growers around the country and on the continent with whom we have traded for many years. As a result we are able to negotiate the keenest prices making us very competitive with other outlets in the area

Mayflower is very much the garden centre for enthusiasts. Our Staff have a wide range of experience in various horticultural disciplines and their knowledge is always available to you for hints, guidance and advice, including plant selection.

The Mayflower Priority Customer Scheme is a gardeners club which began in 1992 and now has almost 9,000 members. The objective of the scheme is to reward our loyal customers by passing on even greater savings through special offers tailored to the items in demand at particular times of the gardening year.

Priority Membership is free and brings with it enrolment in our Newsletter circulation list. This periodical contains practical tips and a schedule of tasks best completed at each phase of the gardening year.
